Every month the Toniq pricelist team provide a list of products that should be searched for, and merged if found, in your system. This list is found at the bottom of the Pricelist information sheet and should be a regular maintenance task completed once a month.


How do I update and find the list?


From the Main Menu:

  • 2 Stock Control, 6 Price lists, Sell-Check, 3 Check/Download price lists

  • Page down to check $PriceListInfo (to make sure it's Blue)

  • F12 [Accept Details]

  • 4 Price list information

  • Go to the bottom of the page and you will see the Product Merges required

  • F5 [Print] to produce a list – making it easier to check off each product as done



How do I merge the products?


NB: It is possible that you may not have any of these items in your database – it will depend on the ranges you stock.

From the Main Menu:

  • 2 Stock Control, 3 Stock Maintenance, 2 Maintain Products

  • Type in the description, PLU, barcode or GUID of the “RETAINED” product

  • F10 [Other], 3 [Merge another product into this one]

  • Type in the description, PLU, barcode or GUID of the “MERGED” product

  • Answer Y [Yes] to the ‘Do you really wish to merge product’ prompt

  • F12 [Accept Details]
